Are you interested in taking part in The Virgin London Marathon?
Take part in one of the world’s greatest marathons, the Virgin London Marathon, as part of Team DRT and you'll be running to make an incredible difference to young people’s lives. We raise money to support our clinics and research - both essential. Join Team DRT and we'll be with you every step of the way.
If you would like to take part in a race, please see our range of Adventure Challenges. If you have your sights on the Virgin London Marathon and would like to be considered for a guaranteed gold bond charity place, please register your interest via email to email@example.com, telling us more about yourself, any running experience and why you would like to run for us. It would be helpful to know if you have run and raised money for a charity previously. Please tell us how much you aim to raise and how you will achieve this.
How the DRT will help you to meet your fundraising goal:
- A visit to meet the DRT team and to see what we do in the clinic.
- The Virgin London Marathon Magazine with fundraising advice.
- DRT runners' support network to enable you to share tips with other runners.
- Regular contact from the DRT to provide support and advice for both your training and fundraising needs.
- You will also receive a DRT-branded running vest to wear with pride and show your support on the day.
Support from Virgin Money London Marathon - In addition to our support, the London Marathon has some great training plans designed to help you achieve your goal, whatever your ability.
The ballot will open after the April race and you will be notified of the outcome in October. If you obtain a ballot place, please consider running for the DRT. There is no minimum sponsorship for our ballot place runners and we’ll still give you all the support you need to maximise your fundraising......so do apply for the ballot as well as applying to the DRT!
If you do not secure a place in the ballot or haven't been able to enter before the ballot closed, you can apply for one of our guaranteed charity entry places.
