Student visual assessments

If you experience any of the visual symptoms below, we may be able to help:

  • Blurred letters or words 

  • Letter movement - jumping around, shaking or back to front

  • Colour changes

  • Glare or oversensitivity to bright lights

  • Headaches 

  • Concentration problems

  • Other visual discomfort

Specialised Student Visual Assessment and Disability Support

You may be entitled to support via the Student Disability Allowance to pay for this type of visual assessment. You should contact your college or university disability office prior to arranging an appointment at our DRT Clinic.

We can usually offer individuals a Private or Specialised Student Visual assessments costing £195 within 2 weeks.

Dyslexia Assessment for University

If you need to show an assessment report post-16 years, this needs to be completed by a registered Psychologist or a Specialist Dyslexia Teacher with a current Practising Certificate.  Please contact our clinic helpline 0118 958 5950 for further assistance.
